Boulder Soccer Camp Directory

As a service to the local soccer community, Rocky Mountain Soccer presents the “Rocky Mountain Soccer Summer Camps Directory”.

Have fun playing soccer this summer!

Advice for a successful summer camp:

1)  Find the right camp for you. Not all camps are the same. A good camp has a safe environment, good facilities, low coach to player ratios, and lots of inflated soccer balls. And of course the 3 “L’s” of coaching: No lines, No lectures and No laps. Every camp should have a clear camp philosophy.

2)  “Hydrate!” Get a big water container and drink it. All day camps should have a place to refill water containers.

3)  Bring a snack. 3 hours of exercise is to long to go without added calories.

4)  Sunscreen

5)  Shinguards

6)  Arrive on time

7)  Be sure the coaches on site have the parent’s/guardian’s cell phone number

8)  Ask if the coaches on site have current CPR/First Aid training and a “in case of emergency plan”.

9)  Make new friends

10) You get out of camp what you put into it. Be positive and ready to play.

BOULDER INDOOR SOCCER CAMPS

Indoor Soccer Camp running all summer long — every week (June through August). The coaching staff will run Morning, Afternoon and Full Day Camps. Directed by Peter Ambrose. Players can register for individual days ($40 for a half and $75 for whole) or for the entire week. Discounts for multiple days of registration. $150 for 5 half-day camps, $275 for 5 full day camps. Run by the same great folks at Boulder Indoor Soccer this camp boosted over 300 campers during the summer. Weekly Camp dates in Boulder from June 4-August 9. Two week long camps in Longmont: June18-22 and July 16-20. $129 per week.

CHALLENGER’S BRITISH SOCCER CAMPS

British Soccer Camps partner with the YMCA, private schools, local youth clubs who are looking to bring British soccer coaches in for soccer camps. Camp program is a 4-day (Monday-Thursday) format.  Each summer camp is open to players ages 4-14 years.  For campers 4-6 years old, camp will run daily from 9-10:30AM, and costs $80 per player.  For the older campers (7-14 yr olds), camp will run day from 9AM-12PM and costs $125 per player.  All camps will take place at  Pleasant View Soccer Complex in Boulder, with a new satellite camp being offered in Lyons, Colorado the week of June 11-14.

St. Vrain FC staff runs weeklong summer camps. Players get a full week of soccer, have the opportunity to meet new friends, and build great relationships with coaches! These camps are held at Hover Park. Cost is $110 per player for ages U7-U14 / $60 per player for ages U4-U6. Camps run June 18-July 27.

Most colleges offer summer soccer camp programs. College camps are a great way to experience a college campus, be seen by college coaches and receive quality level training. Younger players will have fun at college camps being coached by current and former college players and coaches.
